We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar, but honestly, the biggest reason we’re leaving such a glowing review is our amazing server, Kate. From the moment we sat down, Kate was fantastic. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. She had the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and somehow always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we were having a great experience, and it made such a difference. Kate didn’t just take our order, she made the entire meal feel special. Her personality, professionalism, and warm attitude absolutely stood out. Great food is one thing, but having someone like Kate taking care of you can turn a good dinner into a memorable one. And of course, Gristmill itself is beautiful. The atmosphere, the food, the setting along the river, everything comes together beautifully. But Kate deserves a special shoutout because she truly made our visit exceptional. Gristmill, you’ve got a gem in Kate.
