Our experience was a little mixed, which is a shame with the amount of money we spent. I can only chalk it up to New Year’s Eve being a busy night. Over the course of the night we had multiple things not come to our table, such as drinks, appetizers, and the strawberries that were supposed to come on one of our rolls. Each time we mentioned it, the staff seemed confused, and about half the time the problem was resolved, and the other half it never was. All in all the food was good, and the company was great. The atmosphere was fun. In any other restaurant, we probably would’ve just chalked it up to a bad night, but on a night where we’re spending somewhere in the area of $350 after tip to leave confused and disappointed felt really off. If I can chalk it up to a busy New Year’s Eve, then we may just steer clear of Hapa during busy times.

Ordered it with strawberries. Strawberries never came. We asked about it and we were told that they would bring us a bowl of strawberries since they never made it. Those never came. We stopped asking after the second or third attempt.

First order came to the table about 15 minutes out of the rest of our appetizers. I think they were forgotten in the back. A new one was brought up and we were comped partially in our bill.
