First our server was very friendly and very informative regarding GF. We ordered the GF Kobe Carpaccio right after we order our drinks and GF seasoned edamame. After we were midway into eating the edamame we ordered the GF California roll. The California roll came out just after we finished eating the edamame, but the Kobe Carpaccio (which we have had a lot--one of our favorites) still didn't arrive. Fifteen mins later we asked where it was, and we were told, "let me check." We are regulars at Hapa apparent to us--our server forgot to put the order in--which we understand can happen, but to still charge us for it after we had to wait over 20mins? Also the Carpaccio was really fatty (which we told our server) and we spit a lot of it out in napkins. Our server suggested the GF brownie and vanilla ice cream dessert. It had a large scoop of hard ice cream on a small thin brownie--in comparison, making the dessert so-so since the ice cream over powered the brownie.

Patrick was great! The cloud nine + gin is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Magic mushrooms were also amazing!
